Julie Bauknecht

Julie has a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and currently lives in Antigo, WI with her husband and three daughters. She loves to paint scenes of animals and children and is inspired by simple everyday moments. “As long ago as I can remember, I always wanted to draw and paint,” she says. “I look very closely at objects and nature and recapture the things I see.

“I try to recreate moods and emotions in every work I do. I love the satisfaction I get through my artwork and believe you should live life to the fullest and love what you do.”
