Janet Mandel is known for her animal paintings. Her work has been featured by national organizations including the National Audubon Society, the Smithsonian Institution, and the National Geographic Society.
Janet’s recent subjects include humorous Cat Portraits as well as a series of Songbirds. Janet works from her country studio in WNY where she lives with her husband and numerous pets.
